John Prine.  I used to go see him and Steve Goodman in Chicago back in the 70's.  Teeny tiny clubs, lots of smoke great music.  Two guys just starting out and we all knew destined for more.

This is too much.

And then I went and listened to the last song that appeared on his last album.

you right. age doesn't seem to be what it used to be. then I think back, when folks had mortality in the 40s. always a reason to live life to its fullest, trust me on this one, but not matter what age you make the years will all have BLOWN right by. this is how time moves. and we are lucky for all we get, period.
