Don Rummy and Bobby Mac are probably having a good chuckle together. In Hell. Bloodthirsty bastards.

I would not be so quick to place these two in the same Charon-driven boat. Later in his life, I think McNamara came to seriously question what he did during the Vietnam War. I would urge you to watch "The Fog of War" to see a man who looks like he is seriously grappling with his own decisions as he speaks before the camera. Rumsfeld, to my knowledge, never displayed even a moment of reflection.
Just read that Ellen McIlwaine passed away at the age of 75. I thought she was a brilliant guitarist and a vocal powerhouse. Her various YouTube miniconcerts are a master class for anyone who plays slide.
Just heard @groundlings legend & bud John Paragon passed. I can't describe how brilliant he was at that theater. Jambi, Ramon, Happy Joe, The Breather, the list goes on and on. #RIPJohnParagon... pic.twitter.com/wgj1LwXlEq
Pee Wee's Playhouse was a lot of fun. These days that sort of goofy innocence seems almost lost to us...I had no idea that such an accomplished actor was behind Jambi.

"From the early days of Rolling Stone magazine through Creem and the Village Voice to the Austin-Statesman, 'Fresh Air,' and beyond, he never shied from voicing his opinion on cultural matters that counted most for his generation."
Ed was a longtime "facebook friend," one of those online connections you make via friends of friends. That red book behind him in the photo is on my shelves; his section in "Rock of Ages" is the foundation of my knowledge of proto-rock, the music that combined so many sources to solidify into the rock we know today.
Sad day in the music business indeed...
Regarding the Rifleman...I watch Rawhide and Wyatt Earp that aired when I was four or five years old...Trippy indeed. The gun culture and the killing POC without blinking an eye...Amazing brainwashing for young children watching in the '50's.
