It was suggested by another player that they perhaps should have agreed at 50-50 to have an emergency tie breaker but that seems a long time ago now.

They are both completely knackered now, battle of fitness as much as anything now. This is really astonishing, where they are getting the nergy from is anyone's guess.

Oh yeah and there's been 180 aces between them. Never seen anything like this match. Final set alone is over 6 hours!

Yeah, it's not awful tennis by any means. Isner does look tired but he's 6'9 but there's some greta ralley's but the serving is great. Serving an ace down the middle on his second serve to save a break is pretty brave serving.

This is incredible. There is a game being played live right on at wimbledon and belive it or not it's been going on for over 9 hours, it's the final set. Curret score in the final set is 53-52. It's the longest match in history by some way. It's on bbc2 in the uk if anyone wants to watch it. Amazing.

  Good grief!

Murray v Roddick today.  I think that Murray has the edge but it is by no means a shoo in.  Should be a good game.  Hey you Austinites- is Roddick a local boy?

I think he's originally from Nebraska or Iowa, but lived in Austin as a child.  I could be mistaken.  It seems like once an American player shows any promise, they end up living in Florida for training purposes anyhow.  I believe he does now live in Austin again.

No - we're working for living.    And it would seem that Roddick lives here in Austin, but that's truly the first time I've been aware of that.  I suspect he doesn't spend much time around the university or the low rent suburbs.  {#Mrgreen}

10pm UK time Federer takes on British, yes BRITISH no 1 Andy Murray. Murray has been playing out of his skin this year, beat Nadal rather convincingly yesterday and I have a sneaky feeling he's gonna beat fed too. He'l be the first male Brit to win a grand slam since 1936.

Go kid, he's only 19 and has a bit of the McEnroe brat about him sometimes but he's a superb player, really athletic for a big lad.

Come on Andy !!

So if he loses, does he go to being "that young Scot"?

He look amazing against Nadal.
