that's what i am thinking too.....so the eclipse and the solstice are NOT actually happening at the same time, like the article leads one to believe...there will be a daylight phase between them....but they are in the same 24 hour period. being in the same 24 hour period does not mean they coincide....not to me, anyway! thanks....

hey, jrzy—-or anyone else....do you know when and what channels i might be able to see "It's a Wonderful Life," and "A Christmas Carol" this year? all i found is that TNT has one version of "A Christmas Carol" on Tuesday.....but i want options, and i prefer to see one of the old black and white versions.... thanks!
