I know this is kind of goofy, but it might be fun as well. I would like to see how many Peeps would be interested in participating in a Winter Holiday Gift Swap. The rules would be as follows:

1) Spend between $10-$15
2) Maintain anonymity until gift is received
3) Target date of 20/21 December delivery, which is more or less the average of 15 December (Chanukkah), 22 December (Winter Solstice), and 25 December (Christmas) - just trying to cover all December's bases and not show dogmatic favouritism.

I will administrate this, keeping track of all participants and making sure that each giver has the mailing address for their recipient. I think accepting names until 18 November would give people plenty of time to decide if they want to play.

On 20 November, I will contact all participants with the name and address of their extra special giftee. I will also post the final list of participants on that date, so you'll all have some idea who is playing. When you receive your gift in mid December, you can post here, thanking your Secret Santa (or Santeria, or whatever assignation floats your boat). I would like at least 10 to 15 participants to make this work, but the more the merrier!

Please pm or email me if you are interested (don't post here, as that might ruin the fun of seeing the final list of participants). I think part of the fun would be in checking out your recipient's forum posts, song comments, journals, and blogs and figuring out something truly apropos.
