My girlfriend and I go to a a one year old's birthday party. Parents and their little kids everywhere. We're walking around. Find a table to sit down with our drinks in the house. Kids are running around everywhere. There's a bowl of candy-corn on the table. This little boy, no more than 4 years, super curly brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, runs over to our table and grabs a fist full of candy corn.

My girlfriend: Hey, be careful with all that candy corn. You might eat so much you're going to turn into one!
Little boy: WHAT!? Really!?
Girlfriend: Yeah! Wait....Oh, no, I think it's starting. Your face looks a little orange. Next thing you know your middle is going to turn yellow, and your legs and feet will be white like a candy corn!
Little boy: Well.....shouldn't my face be white?
Girlfriend: Oh! Like the top of a candy corn?
Boy: Yeah! And well.......because......I'm Jewish.

Then he ran away. And she and I just stared at each other like "Uh......well, he's not wrong, but where the heck did that ever come from?"

When Jasper was 5, we were dancing to some music in the kitchen. I guess he was having a good time, because he yelled, and I quote, verbatim, " Gimme the beat , good storm troopers!"  He may have seen Star Wars a few too many times.
