I scanned the playlist but I don't think Natalie Merchant is the one, right?

Got to see Bregovic and his Wedding and Funeral Band a few years before this video and, I swear, we got at least five "ONE MORE TIME" moments with "Kalashnikov", which we were just talking about this past week! Time to watch "Underground" again, methinks.

"Underground" - what a movie!

The bride's red dress is mandatory on her wedding-day from 12 pm... for people not in the loop, this movie's bride is dancing on a pole, only this pole is a tank canon tube...

I'm very much looking forward to my son's church wedding in Vojvodina, come this August. Pálinka shall be free for all attendants, invited or not.

Živili!

On Sunday I held the hand of a 93 year-old relative who suffered a major stroke the day before.
They said she was away with the fairies. but she squeezed my hand when I stroked her forehead.
It was a very special moment. Somehow very peaceful.
She passed away today. Peace..

btw... who is that new singer with Goran Bregovic? He's awesome.

Apart from that, that third song was fantastic.

Other than the obvious antagonist, there are at least a half-dozen blessings in that paragraph.

of course I actually have no idea what her side of the story was, but from the signals, I think she was at peace with herself and her life.
I think she had made her peace with it all.

There is this thing named the poise of a dying man.

I am so sorry, Bruce. While I interpreted things very differently which is kind of normal on a forum like this, I just posted things I myself kept listening to with enhanced speakers for the last hour or so.
I don't know Goran's orchestra or the people performing. They embody Yugoslavia in a way that else Emir Kusturica has done in film. And both have been criticized for it. ... Uh oh.
