After massive infusions of the high protein Ensure,I've been able to put 10 pounds back on.I'm actually 3 #'s over pre-boot camp weight.

Bet you're not entering the change, though, are ya? I eat plenty of protein, too. And exercise almost every day. Something has changed in the past 6 months (as in, slowed down and nothing I used to do successfully works anymore), and that's the only correlation I can see.

My metabolism is older than yours, hon. I think really pushing the protein hard may help - I have a BACON snack almost every morning and eat a lot of cottage cheese. That's fantastic! Carb-limiting no longer has that magic effect on me where I shed a bunch of pounds.  Got damn metabolism. I still limit, though. A bunch.

I am wondering if my new -found liking for running is because I have been doing it in Vibrams, or if its because I have developed such a liking for yoga as well and done so much of it in the past few years, or because the mi!itary, where I learned to hate running, is but a very distant memory??
I'm thinking its the Vibrams.... I might try barefoot soon...

Taking it up to another level, doing Qi Gong for neck and upper back. Highly recommend. Accupuncture is into 3rd week now, the demon in my back is on the run and the pain shows up in random different places every day, at least it no longer resides permanently on the right side of my neck. Sometimes in the middle of the night I can hear it bargaining between fits of rage. I am stalwart in my quest for pain free fluidity, I shall be free........
