So by now you've all seen the pictures, the boats, the record making Lombardi Throw, the Covid super spreader precautions (HA!) Can we peeps in Tampa throw a parade or what? (Eat your heart out Boston)

Yes, TB won the battles in the trenches â decisively, the Bucs defense. Although the skill positions get the popular acclaim, championships are won in the trenches.

Well it was interesting until the halftime show. But you know the game's boring when the internet lights up about the logo:
This was Super Bowl 55. Does it, or does it not say 54? (Thanks to BDB for pointing this out)
When we first saw the logo, both Dio and I were certain it was 54. But it's 55, confirming the world is just as stupid as ever.
I didn't realize it was an internet issue. We had a lively debate about it in my house. My position...you can't decide this year it's stupid. You had to call it out in the past....ESPECIALLY last year.
To be fair (to me, if not BDB and the rest of the internet), I don't know if I've watched any super bowls all the way through in years.
Same here. Let's just call it shitty design and get on with our day.
Missing 2 starting tackles and a gimpy Mahomes had an impact, but still did seem to me that Bucs D outcoached the KC offense. Taking Hill out of the game is never easy.

No, the Chiefs were not ready for some football.
As a Philly fan who watched Reid for years with the Eagles, he's a good coach, not great. He never made adjustments to help his O-line, which was battered by injury. His kid didn't help him either with the car accident (his kids have been a mess for years...including the one who OD'd at Eagles training camp), but he's just not good at adjustments.
Love him or hate him, that's why Brady wins. He adjusts, and picks apart defenses enough to keep himself from getting hit.

It is not that TB won that was so shocking, most figured it to be a close game. It is how it went down with that incredible offense being stifled and not even scoring a TD, not to be morbid but I guarantee there are some people jumping off buildings today and that is not out of line to say because it is a fact. Betting has become so sophisticated there are literally a hundred micro bets within the game to be had and that is where A LOT of money was lost. And that ladies and gentleman is why I do not gamble.
