This is a good example of why I think the US political system is fundamentally sick. It fosters a never-ending cycle of mutual recrimination and distrust. This is not the way to have  any meaningful political discourse.
There should rather be consensus about the underlying framework of government and respect for opposing views within that framework. This is not happening and rather than assigning blame to one or the other party, maybe it is time to have a hard think about the very system itself.

Tomorrow morning ... big news coming.  Says the grapevine.  Possibly around 10am, maybe earlier if leaks happen.
Someone died or someone is stepping down is my guess. Or someone has been taken into custody... or some colossally disgusting news.
Rumors are rampant right now.

Earlier today Biden called a lid on the remaining 9 days until election day - no more public appearances.  Interesting strategy! Or - a direct result of what is about to be announced.

Also today, was this:

#2

Out of Work in America
A conference call in which everyone on the line was laid off. An email declaring that a restaurant had served its last meal. A phone call from the boss before work saying to come in — and pack up all your things. In March and April, as the coronavirus began tearing through the country, Americans lost as many jobs as they did during the Great Depression and the Great Recession combined — 22 million jobs that were there one minute and gone the next.

A job is a paycheck, an identity, a civic stabilizer, a future builder. During a pandemic, a job loss erases all that, when it is needed the most.

I finally watched the documentary "The Plot Against the President" last night.

As I generally follow a lot of what was covered, it filled in a few spots for me, and I learned some new details — and for our liberal & Democrat-voting friends, there are several segments there that should be huge eyeopeners to you.  REALLY.

This documentary is highly recommended viewing for all.

Everyone should watch this documentary - even if  you have already voted blue.

Put aside your preconceived ideas or distaste for Trump & his administration and watch closely  to learn the players behind the massive deception.

You'll also be shocked at:
- how the systems of power were abused.
- how the Dems in congress and senate can say anything they want that they know as untrue in front of media cameras - and totally get away with it.
- how the left media is complicit in amplifying those lies and dividing the country

I will single out Adam Schiff here
, in particular for his role in the hoax known as Russiagate.  He's out in front of all the Sunday talk shows today, once again lying his ass off about the Hunter Biden laptop and emails.

The facts you think you know about Trump that are totally wrong should be numerous.  Dem/libs have been gas-lighted at an incredible level, by unaccountable Democrat politicians, assisted by their friends in the media.  The distortions to the truth are now in the clear.

Your takeaways after watching will include a good guess on who we might be seeing indicted in 2021 for abuse of process/their office.

After watching this, if you are a Dem or Ind voter, you should be asking yourself if the situation were reversed and this happened to an incoming Democrat or Independent administration, where would your outrage meter be?  This should never be allowed to happen again.

WATCH THIS DOCUMENTARY!

Youtube channel: Plot Against the President

The movie is now available on Amazon after an unusual delay.  Strangely, after the Hollywood Reporter published an article about Amazon holding up the release, the documentary was cleared by Amazon the very next day.

You will have noticed that the USA is in what could be described as a race war. Black Lives Matter only affects the tip of the iceberg. Black people have a significantly lower life expectancy and are much more likely to be in prison than others. Just look at the graphic here, how likely it is, depending on your skin color, to have been in prison at least once in your life. The graphics are old. Newer graphics don't look any better.

This is due to the War on Drugs and the Criminal Justice Reform of 1994, which introduced things like three strikes (automatic life imprisonment after the third offense) and minimum sentences. Here is the list.
Also on it: death penalty for 60 additional offenses. Abolition of Pell Grants for prisoners (with which they could get higher education). Etc.

This law was written by Joe Biden and brought through Parliament.

So if there is one person who is primarily to blame for the state of affairs in the US, it is Joe "friendly grandfather" Biden, who previously celebrated himself as a tough Law and Order fascist for decades. There are videos. See for yourself.

Even before this presidential election campaign, he never left any doubts that he was still behind his law. Now it's turning a bit. He still thinks the law is good, but how the federal states (!) Have implemented it (!!), he sees one or the other problem.

And so we have the paradoxical situation that a habitual liar and blender and incompetent total failure like Donald Trump is the candidate who is more likely to end the Race War.

In my view, both candidates are completely unacceptable.

Incidentally, Joe Biden sees Julian Assange as a "high-tech terrorist", not as a journalist or whistleblower. If anyone thought that if Biden won, then Assange's suffering would come to an end. Joe Biden also stands for crypto backdoors and the clipper chip. You have to give it one thing. His doing has continuity.

* * * * *

Going back to Hunter Biden: Just because the laptop story is implausible doesn't mean Hunter Biden isn't actually completely incompetent and criminal.

If you want to find out all the details of the story, you can do so with Matt Taibbi and Katie Halper (the first third of the program, approx. 20 minutes).

Let me sum it up in a nasty short: After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine, like Russia, is in the hands of criminal gangs. One of them is Burisma, an electricity company. The public prosecutor's office, also in the hands of organized crime, drives a protection money number with the other criminals.

The Mafia is not stupid and Burisma is hiring a bunch of relatives of Western statesmen for their "board of directors", Hunter Biden is one of them, but they also have someone under contract for the Polish government and one for the US State Department. The "consultants" get generous piles of money for essentially no work.

In fairness I should say that this is also common in the West. The supervisory boards of large corporations in Germany are also crammed with politicians who then have an incentive to prevent regulation that is too restrictive.

Hunter Biden is said to have worked on his father so that he clears away this public prosecutor who wanted protection money from Burisma.

That doesn't sound unbelievable to me. This is exactly how you would do it if you were a mafia boss in Ukraine.

But this laptop number is bull****, sorry. This is parallel construction. Some secret service wiretapping device will have intercepted e-mail, and now they're telling us some invented BS with the laptop.

Incidentally, Hunter Biden's seat on a supervisory board in Ukraine's AFAIK is neither unusual, offensive, nor illegal. Not even that he then affects his father. If the father allows himself to be influenced by his son, it slowly becomes immoral, but if all the father does is to remove a corrupt prosecutor, then I see little reason for big anti-corruption speeches.

Unless we (Germany) now suddenly see it negatively when the US violates the sovereignty of other states. Didn't I get the memo? If so, then we can talk about Ramstein (where, by the way, a "space center" is to be set up by NATO).

I'm not going to spend my Saturday evening debunking your misconceptions and unsupported memories.

I'll just note this: the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act was enacted in 1994, TWENTY SIX YEARS ago. Different time, different America, different levels of violent crime, drug use, etc.

The law had bipartisan support in Congress and widespread public approval  including among Blacks.

Biden did not approve of all the proposed or passed measures and worked shortly the law's enactment to get some harsher measures repealed.

Some laws such as the "three strikes and you're out" rule were largely symbolic and rarely enforced.

Biden has worked since 1994 to pass laws that try to redress inequities in punishment laws, such as the disparity in sentencing for crack-cocaine possession and powder cocaine possession.
