The neighbors have a really big, goofy dog that I have named Fetterman.  You should not make fun of the mentally disabled who have lost cognitive function due to a stroke, you know what else you shouldn't do???  Elect them to the Senate and start floating Presidential aspirations for them.  smh

Absolutely true.

We could call Hillary Clinton a Anti-Semitic Ethnic Cleansing Terrorist and, technically speaking that would be correct.  But where does it get us?

Perhaps an adult-like, mature discussion of nuclear weapons doctrine, strategy and proliferation would represent time better spent?

Tulsi Gabbard announces she is leaving the Democratic Party
Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard ran an unsuccessful bid for the Democrat presidential nomination In 2020.

Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced she is leaving the Democratic Party, denouncing it as an "elitist cabal of warmongers," while calling upon other "common sense independent minded Democrats" to exit with her.

"I can no longer remain in today's Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war," Gabbard said on Twitter.

Well, the current success of marriage is no better than a coin flip and statistically no different than the success rate of common law relationships.

So yeah.  Maybe marriages to dogs would last longer, and involve less drama than many contemporary marriages.

There's a long tradition of appeasing factions within a party by tossing them the sop of a VP candidate. It leads to friction as often as it leads to unity, but it's political tokenism.

I mean it's normal.

I would guess that the majority of the electorate in your fine state would agree with my prior statement.   I really have no issue with what someone wants to call themselves, but right now, the focus on pronouns is supported almost entirely by Dems and plays to the PC narrative that energizes the MAGA crowd.

You're right...but they (very plural) don't care.

It's called "the singular they," and it's a very old construction that you use often, I'm sure. How convenient, then, that we need something for this situation and there it is.

i'm pretty sure this election is his to lose
from what i can tell, he has enjoyed popular support
all he has to do is make sense, speak with any intelligence
win the centrists, sort of like he has done in the past

"secret police"
jeez, this type of tin foil conspiracy is cancerous
i hope his media team wises up and understands florida is politically and culturally very diverse
i'm not sure people want more toxic campaigning...
