Yes. If you notice, his feet don't actually leave the ground. He's just moving his heels up and down, and knees back and forth. It's still amazing even knowing that.

2 years since I last commented on this one, so it`s only right I should compliment Bill on educating me to this music to the point I could argue that this was from the Toku album while sitting in the highest pub in Africa (Lesotho), to the evident enjoyment of the jeep drivers who obviously thought this was a seriously crazy white guy who knew Zimbabwean music when he was 92% pissed at the top of Sani Pass.

I'm back in a thatched hut somewhere in tropical Black Africa tossing back beers.

This one doesn't get much white traffic, if any at all, but as we settle back and share a few laughs with our host, the 'bar' relaxes into the mood of these visitors are all right and a big joyous grin of This is the way the RESPECT should always work.

jehahn you have an elbow song rated as a 10. That pretty much nixes your right to complain about how often a given band plays on RP. Of course by that note I have to quit whining about Tori Amos ... nevermind carry on.

Oliver Mtukudzi plays regularly in my area, and he (and a number of other Zimbabweans)add incredible flavour to what would otherwise be, very drab & repetative western influenced local music. For those who have enjoyed this track, look out for Devera Ngwenya, Bundu Boys, Thomas Mapfumo and others in this "tshikaranga" genre.
