Honeymoon is over! Very cool album!
This song also makes an appearance on 'Honeymoon is over'.
Fantastic album from a good Aussie band. The base-heavy, instrumental track 'Seems Twice' is, for me, the best of a great bunch....
Maybe RP could seek it out ;)

Absolutely loved every second of this up to and especially the ending. 8 -> 9 on first listen
Off to YouTube to find that next song and see where that goes...

Fantastic song, pity he didnt sing. Tex Perkins is the man on the cover, a very talented multi-purpose musician and singer. His recent production playing across Australia was the Man in Black, a stage show of music and narrative story telling about Johnny Cash
They are (or were) an eminently superb live act here in Australia, with a larger than life and likeable front man in Tex Perkins. Their seminal album, Three-Legged Dog, was full of marvellously lush strum, twang, grunt and dabble guitar licks. "Honeymoon Is Over", "Jet Plane" and "Better Get A Lawyer" were standout cuts (correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Stan Ridgway was the originator of Better Get A Lawyer). But the entire compilation is a wonderfully crafted piece that maintains an earthy, simple sound throughout. Traits of the Grateful Dead can be found. Do yourselves a favour and download it - you won't be disappointed.

The piano riff at the end runs straight into the next song on the album - an every better tune in my view (the honeymoon is over). A quick Google image search for "Tex Perkins" should put paid to any Stiller/Kiedis lookalike theories....
Like it, still it ain't no Cissy Strut.
This music is good for the ears...
Hey Bill, try also ::Honeymoon is over: the cruel sea

I'm thinking the last five inches of the studio tape got cut or badly mangled ...

Really liked that. My little tube amp made that sound just lovely.
Is that Steven Tyler on the cover of the album? Shouldn't he be judging some "talent" show.
and... an interesting, if not unusual ending.
Interesting commentary from Bill on song endings.
