Don't see myself as the rave type,

Cool whip!
I will never not hear this now! 😂
Don't appropriate. Steal with both ears
Get real, man. People have stolen tunes from other people since the beginning of time. This is a catchy, fun song to listen to while I'm working, hard stop.
Nice song, but there's a lot of rhythmic dance music like this out there by people of other complexions that is a lot better. I love, listen to on the daily, and support this station, but for me its biggest deficiency is lack of music across the racial and ethnic spectrum.
Is she wearing Levi's jeans? Can't see.
Always wondered who was making that wonderful music!

While there are certainly some gaps in the broad span of genres that could be presented on Radio Paradise, I would have to think that they are mainly a matter of stylistic choice and not at all a matter of ethnic or racial exclusion. There is a ton of blues on here by people other than SRV & Johnny Winter; there is plenty of Soul music by people other than Joe Cocker & Steve Winwood; big band, jazz, R&B, etc. are fairly well represented across the spectrum, plus the multitude of offerings directly from Africa.
Would I like to see more high-quality, more modern R&B? Yes; my personal knowledge is limited, but I'm sure William & Alanna can curate some gems. Rap? Definitely. Metal? Sure. I don't know if I myself would want to gather in stuff like Pop Country or K-Pop or House Music, but there are talented artists releasing well-crafted songs of all types and those of us that tune in for the eclectic nature of this station should welcome the opportunity to broaden our horizons.
You're probably right that there are other artists performing rhythmic dance music that is even better than this, but Jain's songs are certainly worthy and she is not being featured on here as a slight to black musicians.
Suddenly it hits me: this is an 8!

You haven't listened long enough. RP is amazingly and wonderfully diverse.

You can't be serious.

I thought it was pretty good. At first I thought it was something new from Sofi Tukker...had that vibe. Learn something new almost everyday on RP. Thanks again

Hey Lion....
You are a stupid bitch, all i have to say to this brainless bs
And, you wonder why women don't talk to you! ...Eh?
You are a stupid bitch, all i have to say to this brainless bs
While I agree that the original comment was along the lines of "brainless bs" I've gotta call out the misogynistic bs from your comment. A simple look at the OP's profile will indicate their bathroom preference is men's, so you could have opted for a more masculine insult instead of falling on the crutch of the more feminine "stupid bitch" insult.

Thank you RP for broadening my musical spectrum. Again.
Disagree. I don't pay attention to the race of the performers, since I would need to look at the description each time. Tho I will say I hear enough blues here to satisfy me. But I hear a fair share of ethnic music, including African, Eastern European, Western Europe, Russian, and South American. No, I disagree.

funny that next song up today is Sponji Raggae by Black Uhuru.
She's French. Perhaps take a lesson from her countrymen and enjoy l'art pour l'art.

I'm just a White Dude, learning as fast as I can. And RP has helped me, immensely. As Google is to research, and Word is to spellcheck, RP is to turning my soul a different color. LOOK! I don't have time for EVERYTHING. But instead of a complaint, how about a suggestion? What can you bring to these comments sections, people?
Whatever the genre is, this is off-center of it AND too trendy/common?
Why don't you just say you don't like it and leave out the nonsense? It's perfectly okay to not like it.

If you listen to more music from Jain you'll find a tremendous, young talent.
