Think I'll dust 'em off, put 'em back up on the shelf
In case my little baby girl is in need
Am I coming out of left field?
Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now
I been feeling it since 1966, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still
Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now
Let me kick it like it's 1986, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still
Got another mouth to feed
Leave it with a baby sitter, mama, call the grave digger
Gone with the fallen leaves
Am I coming out of left field?
Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now
I been feeling it since 1966, now
Might've had your fill, but you feel it still
Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now
Let me kick it like it's 1986, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still
We could fight a war for peace
(Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now)
Give in to that easy living
Goodbye to my hopes and dreams
Start flipping for my enemies
We could wait until the walls come down
(Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now)
It's time to give a little to the
Kids in the middle, but, oh until it falls
Won't bother me
Is it coming?
Is it coming?
Is it coming?
Is it coming?
Is it coming?
Is it coming back?
Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, yeah
Your love is an abyss for my heart to eclipse, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still
Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now
I've been feeling it since 1966, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still
Ooh woo, I'm a rebel just for kicks, now
Let me kick it like it's 1986, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still
Might've had your fill, but I feel it still
what is this doing on RP?
RP=eclectic mixes.
So...what's your question?
what is this doing on RP?
I gave it an 8.
"Ooh, wait a minute Mr. Postman"
thank you! i couldn't place it.
No.
Yay for Wasilla. It's kind of a big deal when they occasionally come home and play a concert. More of a big deal than when Sarah decides to "come home" from her "second home" in Arizona to grace us with her presence. I enjoyed mailing my ballot in last week and not voting for her in the upcoming House of Representatives election. Unfortunately, I think she's leading the polls.
Came to comment on something good out of Wasilla.. I'm sure most (at least half?) of the residents aren't nitwits
I won tickets to see them and got to meet with some of the band before the concert. It was an enjoyable evening!
That's a very cool video - and typical of Paris, where nobody pays you the slightest bit of attention! In lots of other cities this would have attracted a major crowd.
In Paris, that's just a regular Tuesday. Well, Tuesdays are for Frugging. They do the Twist on Wednesdays, the Swim on Thursdays, the Mashed Potato on Fridays, the Shimmy on Saturdays, and the Watusi on Sundays. Mondays are for resting in cafes planning the next weeks' dances.
There's a great choreography of this by Emma Scherer on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afCB4vJChXU
Just a little 60s-style jazz at the Pont de Bir-Hakeim in Paris!
An hommage to one of the best ❤️

Killer.
They had the good sense to come to Portland
Smart kids.
Great band.
Hey! This band is from Sarah Palin's hometown.
Isn't this a cover of this song?

Hard to place the era this evokes/comes from. Disturbing lyrics. Strange and quirky but quite pleasing.
Same here, kbs. At first I thought I heard this back in the 90's and was surprised by the 2017 date. Checked out the wiki page, and while it is a reinterpretation of Please Mr. Postman, I was way off on my 90's estimate. I like it though.
