Thanks for posting.  Proves once again what everyone knows.  Dylan is the master of storytelling and lyrics.  And I happen to love his harmonica and voice.  There are times I'll listen to 2 or 3 albums straight through, particularly his first eight, in one sitting!!

Thank you SO much, Mr. Bond, for posting these lyrics.{#Clap} They remind me of why I suffer through Dylan's singing and harmonica-playing. His words are absolutely brilliant, and are worth whatever it takes to get past his vocals. Bob is no slouch as a DJ building sets, himself. His Theme Time Radio show on XM is fun and educational. Can't say the same about this song. 3, and that's charitable.

This one breaks the "3" rating barrier. Not many do with Bob in my book. It almost sounds like if Tom Petty never passed his Special Ed classes on pronunciation of the English language...then decides to roll into a whiny harmonica to spite his parents because Bob is such a "rebel".

I'm not a Dylan fan either, though I must say he has a way with words - in almost a beat poet sort of way.  This one though. . .kind of like it.  Maybe it's Knopfler's magic hands on the guitar?  Not sure.  I have to give it some points.

Not really a fan of Dylan at all.  I appreciate his talent, and understand why others like him, but his voice just doesn't do it for me.

Never knew he collaborated with Knopfler, though.  Thanks to be previous commenter for confirming that was MK's guitar (though, truthfully, there was never any doubt in my mind...).

A fav from 1983's Infidels album. It has all you could ask for in a Dylan song and the band with Mark Knopfler really hums. Lyrics are thought provoking too.
