Feel like standing still
Get your barings
Until
When the day is through
All you got to do is slowdown
When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown
Full of tension
'Cause you love the chase
You just need your
Own space
When the day is through
All you got to do is slowdown
When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown
when you had enough
Of the fastest stuff to slowdown
When you see from space
Must be a mess slowdown
When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown
When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown
When it's hard out there
And you gonna bail, slowdown
You just seem sometimes
To forget your mind slowdown
Down down down down down
A little sun support it.
THAT is one of the sexiest, most amazing vocal deliveries ever, and the way they use that clear, ringing guitar is stellar, too. Really like!
I Agree!
Nowadays, I would add The War on Drugs to that list.
Don't forget Paul Simon
Now THIS is Sexy
Can't agree more! Sexy rhythm, beat and voice...
If any group typifies Radio Paradise, it's got to be Morcheeba—or maybe Porcupine Tree, or Shins, or Beatles, or… geez, this is tough!
Nowadays, I would add The War on Drugs to that list.
>>Reminds me of Portishead.
>>>Yes, with a touch of Hooverphonic.
I hear some overtones (undertones?) of Morcheeba in there as well. Smooooth...
Yes, with a touch of Hooverphonic.
Yes I've noticed this too, really annoying!! It keeps getting stuck on the Morcheba song and not playing. If you click 'PSD' it works but you have to do this every time at the end of each track...
Misterbaby, you wouldn't say that if Skye Edwards was swaying in a slinky dress and singing this to you when you got home from work!
I found it ludicrous that they got rid of Skye Edwards (vocals). She received "a phone call from our manager saying that it was over."
They replaced her, but it wasn't the same. She's back with them now.
Ross Godfrey
Not even remotely.
According to Bill's new submission system, UMN was rejected under the old submission system. Why I thought it was in here, I do not know. How I even came to know about it if not here, I also do not know. A puzzlement 'tis…
Massive Attack — Live With Me
Morcheeba — Slow Down
all mm's....
Charm heartens a go
In hand in hand only.
Won't do no such when
All Storefronts are empty.
Morcheeba is never bad, rarely mediocre and mostly good!
Wonderful band with a great singer!
The "Fragments of Freedom" album has about 2 cuts that get air time on RP, which is why I went out and spent my hard-earned sheckles on it (ok, only about $7 used), only to hear that those 2 RP plays were the only ones worth listening to more than twice. The rest of the album: Mehh.... Other very positive reviews built my hopes up far past what that album delivered — win some, lose some.
That said, I liked this cut.

My thoughts too! Too busy giving out ratings and adding comments.
Thank You for these sounds... tonight
21 Morcheeba tracks in the library but no UMN shame on you Bill, please rectify asap !
Yeah, that's my fav Morcheeba track. Along with What Do New York Couples Fight About with the Lambchop guy.

"Undress Me Now" is in my iTunes library Radio Paradise playlist, so either it *was* in BillG's playlist in the past and subsequently removed, or I screwed up somehow. Perhaps I thought as you that it *should* be here.

If you got time to care where the music is from...you have too much time on your hands.
Same with race, gender or religion... Enjoy talent and appreciate it where you find it...
Life is too short to pigeonhole talented people (or any people)... There are things to do, places to go, people-to-annoy-!
Get busy... and appreciate what come your way...
And send some of your own talents out into the world... Who knows when it will return bearing gold or good wishes...
i like to annoy peple too !!
Ah crap, I just missed them — they played Seattle March 1st.... I've always wanted to catch them live — especially with Skye. Got to get me on a mailing list!
saw them with skye. amazing.

We need more English music - less girls and less "Americana",
but no Floyd, Queen and Spanish virtuosists,
if you ask me!
Szzzzz...! NOO! Not Floyd - luckily not!
I assume you mean the solo - Some Floyd, yes
though millions of guitarists can produce this sound
I am one of them - but who wants to be that boring?
Doesn't hurt that she's smoking hot tho, does it?
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......

It does sound like Gilmour's guitar "sound" - probably a Stratocaster, but the overall music has more of a "soul" sound than Floyd tended to have.

Morcheeba at the Shepherd's Bush Empire, London, UK, May 2005
for fans of the band : this is the first tour with their new lead singer, Daisy Martey.
Great song to follow Massive Attack - seemless segue. This song is smooth, smoother than mercury on glass. 8 from the Nottingham jury.

then turn up the volume. . .
Pseudo?!? Have you no testosterone, man? I think she sounds mighty purrrrrty... But I know what ya mean...there seems to be a proliferation of sound-alikes. Makes me wonder if we've exhausted all available new music so we're on re-tread now. Still a likeable tune for me.
She's not the loveliest looking woman I've seen, but that voice is sexy as all get out. With her voice, she would have little trouble seducing me (~_^)
