one hand loves the other
so much on me
born stubborn, me
will always be
before you count 123
i will have grown my own private branch
of this tree
you: gardener
you: discipliner
domestically
i can obey all of your rules
and still be: be
i never thought i would compromise
i never thought i would compromise
i never thought i would compromise
let's unite tonight
we shouldn't fight
embrace you tight
let's unite tonight
i thrive best
hermit style
with a beard and a pipe
and a parrot on each side
but now i can't do this without you
i never thought i would compromise
i never thought i would compromise
i never thought i would compromise
let's unite tonight
we shouldn't fight
embrace you tight

I love this song. This whole album is great.

You can add me to that thought
If she went for a walk in a dodgy part of Moscow, do you think it'd be a Bjork on the Wild side? or maybe she'd be Bjork in the U..S..S..R
Sorry this song is driving me mad, its horrible
I guess I can see why someone would find this interesting to listen to, but whatever its achievement in tone or technique, it leaves me feeling absolutely nothing. The build-up at the end seems so contrived - like the song had to change somehow, so why not pretend it's really intense. And all those clicks and pops just sound like faulty wiring. Is that the point?

BEST bjork album in my opinion is Debut - if you dont have it but like bjork- go get it

I know just what I'd get 'em for a wedding present.
Yup, a fork.
But, I believe the proper pronunciation of her name rhymes with jerk.

I love Bjork!
I had a dream last night that God was in my son's room talking to him. God said "Actually, everything took three weeks, and that first week was really really long."
And this
reminds me
of Bjork

So sad. So many tired listeners out there who don't "get" bjork.

man, we've got a real comic genius or two in here, dont we?
love the bjork. this album in particular is perfect headphone music.

Go back to your american idol, reruns of full house and eating your jello pudding pops... you'll be much happier
I for one, will continue to enjoy her unique talent
btw - if Björk married Bjorn Borg she'd be - yup you guessed it..... married to a swede.

Yup, a fork.
...and then, a visit from the - stork!?
The truth is I think she's brilliant, and should come to play a private concert for me and all my friends as soon as she can.

Will try to learn to appreciate her. Right now, struggling.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! Thanks for playing it. I'm in Bjork nirvana right now...
One of my favorites, thank you!!
I completely agree with Elton John, when he said about Bjork, "I think she is genuinely, in popular music, the only true innovative artist that's out there."
Regarding the reporter incident, here's what I've heard about it. That same reporter had been following her around harrassing her for months, and that day when the reporter went for her little boy, she just lost it and went ballistic. She later apologized and sent flowers, but the damage to her reputation was done.

Thank you- looove Bjork- and this one is great!
I really do quite like the sound of Bjork's voice. I've gotten to really enjoy her music after hearing so much of it on radio paradise. So I said to my wife last night that I would like to buy one of Bjork's albums. And do you know what Bonita said?
"I'll never buy one of Bjork's albums after she beat up that reporter."
It seems that Bjork flew to Thailand, and was greeted in the airport by the press. A reporter said to Bjork "Welcome to Bangkon". And then Bjork beat the living crap out of the reporter. She had the poor woman on the ground and was beating her senseless.
I found this hard to believe but Bonita claimed that she saw a news video of the event on TV.
Does anyone know more about this?

Right, but it still sucks.

Forget all the other music you've ever heard and just let it flow over you.

I'm surprised (and sorry) this song doesn't rate higher. I find her music to be adventurous, unique and beautiful. She is a refreshing breath of fresh air in this age of homogenized commercial music. I never get tired of hearing her sing. Thanks for playing this one.
if bjork and thom yorke got married, they would be bjork yorke.
Bjork has a wondeful voice. I enjoy the passion she puts in her voice. The back grounds are great with the violins and voices makes her sound like an angel. You know?

Very trippy.. had you ever seen the video for "I Miss you" .. it was done by Spumco / John Krifalusi (sp?) and is about as whacky as it gets.. fun stuff.. check it out at https://www.bjork.com/videogallery/
Thank you for this link! some really wonderful stuff is here.

Different reaction for me. It started bad and got worse. I just don't get Bjork.
I've enjoyed Bjork on the radio, however, never knew she could project such sensitivty. Very interesting singer and she seems like a fun person. I'd probably like to sit down and polish off a bottle of good wine with her.
ooo...bjork makes me feel soo happy each time

Well now I have the answer to the question: what would it feel like to be labotomised thru my ears...
Ahh, this is that RP is for - good music that you wouldn't otherwise hear anywhere. Thanks indeed.
wooohah!
good pick, RP. so many great tracks on this very subtle album. great headphone music.
