saw him do a version of this on some award show...MTV? dunno
had a bit of energy to it when I saw him do it, but now listening to this middle of the road pap, the recorded version seems to have sucked what little soul it had out if it.
A good advertisement for the use of contraception.

By the way, he's saying that no father loves his daughter MORE than he loves his... he's not saying someone couldn't love their daughter AS MUCH.
And may I also take this moment to remind daughters and sons everywhere to tell your parents that you love them. I'm so so so glad I told my dad many times how much I love him. He died young (49) and suddenly, so there was no last chance. Talk to your parents while you can.
The last words I ever spoke to my dad before they carted him off to surgery and his death was "I LOVE YOU DAD" He died too young as well thanks to the fucked up emergency surgery procedure of the hospital.
Okay, yeah it\'s sentimental, and yeah it reminds us that we should be nice to our parents once in a while, but it\'s still a crappy song.
Who keeps giving these sucky songs 10\"s?

Sweet and awesome! :p

Yeah, I spose so. I probably shouldn\'t post when I have a headache.
what a sweet song. I can see him singing it as a lullaby.
Don\'t take offense, it\'s what every father, and mother too by the way, thinks about their child.
I have a daughter too, and that\'s why it pisses me off. Why should I believe that he loves his daughter more than I love mine? I\'m glad he feels that way, but I beg to differ!
Not in the same class as his best work, but I\'m the father of a beautiful, sweet, wonderful daughter so I love it! :)
Embarrassingly sappy. Yuck.
