Walking down the road
With a pistol in your waist
Johnny you're too bad (whoo-oi)
Walking down the road
With a ratchet in your waist
Johnny you're too bad (whoo-oi)

You're just robbing and stabbing and looting and shooting
Now you're too bad (too bad)
You're just robbing and stabbing and looting and shooting
Now you're too bad (too bad)

One of these days when you hear a voice say: "come"
Where you gonna run to (whoo-oi)
One of these days when you hear a voice say: "come"
Where you gonna run to (whoo-oi)

You're gonna run to the rock for rescue
But there'll be no rock (no rock)
You're gonna run to the rock for rescue
But there'll be no rock (no way)

This is the original version! UB 40 came along long after this group recorded it.
Getting in the Groove with this one
Absolute 10 - timeless
Pretty sure this was one of the first songs Steve Earle recorded after getting out of jail/treatment...
Always 10
SO good!
Cover by the sublime John Martyn is one of my favourite versions
Awesome
saw this film at the Uniondale Mini Cinema in '78 a midnight show, smokin' our own little spleefs and drinking mini Miller bottles
Quality cultural moment
