Ah, Japanese Anime. They always sound so sincere and excited about everything. The sample is probably from a cartoon where they are discussing the colour of their shoes. Excitedly.

Quite so, or an embarrassed schoolboy getting the attention from brash girls.
Still it fails to register higher than a 3 in my book. Other Galactic tracks are bordering on Awesome though.
Gonna see Galactic for the first time at the Gathering of the Vibes next month.  Can't wait.
Definitely seem them live - fantastic!

Sounds like she either had a whole LOT of orgasms or once plus a tape loop. Anyway, clever .... kind of like that Rod Stewart song where the French girl is saying ... well, never mind.

Swedish girl; that was Britt Ekland I believe, when she and Rod Stewart were "together".

Kool funk!
I like it.
All good things must come to an end...I guess that's why this doesn't.
The Bonnaroo 2004 version of this is one of the hottest things I have ever heard and that alot. You cant get it from this album version at all. Another world. GO SEE THESE GUYS
Ruckus....Suckus

Rhythm does not have to drone on in the same time for a whole song though.

Dammit - every time I try to go to bed, something else cool comes on! I'll be up all night!
I must like this album. I click on their songs a lot. Couldn't name the songs yet, but I'd get good vibes looking at the album cover from 20 paces.
Reminds me of Gorillaz
I love this band, but this album is there least impressive.....Live is where it's at for them!
Good one
This is a bopping little tune. I like it.
I dig the twangy bass line.

Gotta love the Mustard Museum
Nothing too revolutionary here....

Once again another repeated segue form Mr. Bill!
So? What is your point please?
I don't know how to play saxaphone...but this guy sucks.

Will have to try that. Garlic ice cream is pretty tasty, too. I tried it at a Garlic Fest in Delray Beach, FL a few years back.

An infectious groove that had me bopping before I even knew it.
Good segue from Sneaker Pimps.
Neat, though repetitious.
Those crazy fast-talking loops in the background sound like the radio loops from Grand Theft Auto 2!

Does anyone remember if these guys used to be called Galactic Prophylatic? This is way back when they were telephone-pole flyering Uptown NOLA.
Same group.

Hmmm, vivid. I like both flavors. This album is aces but some older cuts are needed too.
I'll have to give these more of a listen, intriguing. I like music I ca't make my mind up about straight away.
brilliant!

I used to wander around downtown San Antonio, Texas at night. Bongo Joe had a certain bridge staked out. His motorcycle was rigged up with a small trailer loaded with oil drums. He played the oil drums with shakers and made up little rhymes about the people walking by. He had a headset with a microphone. We loved him! Several years later I was surprised to hear music in a store (George Washington’s Teeth) that sounded like Bongo Joe. I inquired about the music and sure enough this guy had an album! I can't help wondering if this song is about this same person.
My god!!! I have that album! "I wish I coould siiiiiiaiiaiiiiinnnnngggggg"
Wow this is cool. The repetition is soothing rather than annoying.

Galactic is an amazing band, one of my all time fav's, however, this album isn't their finest work, and I think it's getting too much rotation on RP. Check out their first album "Coolin' Off" for some chill jazz funk. Or Crazyhorse Mongoose. Love to hear the Galactic catalog explored some more on RP.
did the record get stuck?

Saw the boys live last night, here in Tampa. It was the first time I've ever seen them do an indoor show. Inside, outside..it doesn't matter...they remain one of the best live shows going. NEVER miss a chance to see them... www.galacticfunk.com
Recently discovered this New Orleans crew....and of course RP picked them up like they always do when something really good comes along. Thanks! :)

Damn!!! I just missed this. Hope I don't miss it next time. Glad to see Galactic here.
