All I am is the bones you made for me so garishly clean
White as the horses, they carry me away
And all my demons, you said, come and go with a haze
I might as well took a
I'll grow old in my way just like you do

Oh there ain't no diamonds in the boredom
Oh there ain't no darkness that I fear
Oh there ain't no way to say I love you more
So be clear, just to be clear
So be clear, be clear

All I am is the bones you made for me
Just driftwood for the sea
Heavy as the horses, that carry me away
That carry me away

Oh there ain't no diamonds in the boredom
Oh there ain't no darkness that I fear
Oh there ain't no way to say I love you more
So be clear, be clear

Oh there ain't no diamonds in the boredom
Oh oh oh ain't no darkness that I fear
Oh oh oh ain't no way to say I love you more
So be clear, just to be clear
So be clear, be clear

Oh there ain't no diamonds in the boredom
No there ain't no darkness that I fear
Oh there ain't no way to say I love you more
So be clear, be clear

I like it.

Edit: Ugh... It transposes to something I don't really like. I liked the start.

Exactly my feelings. Shame about that sappy, by-the-numbers chorus.

Starts great; moody, dark. Then it goes all bum-shaking-pop on us in the chorus. What a way to spoil what could have been a great song...

I absolutely agree! That's why I quit all that commercial radio years ago and headed over to RP!

It's a shame to hear that kind of music here, although it's not that much after all...

Same.. Heard the start and went all "ooooh! Alt-jish nice me like!", so I was surprised by a relatively low grade, and the comments about the chorus..
and then the chorus came.. :D

Lindsey inspired in places, I feel.  Probably.
Marginal is probably being nice.
In the rough...
