Ooooh
With your feet in the air and your head on the ground
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
Your head will collapse
But there's nothing in it
And you'll ask yourself
Where is my mind?
Where is my mind?
Where is my mind?
Way out in the water
See it swimmin'
I was swimmin' in the Carribean
Animals were hiding behind the rocks
Except the little fish
But they told me, he swears
Tryin' to talk to me to me to me
Where is my mind?
Where is my mind?
Where is my mind?
Way out in the water
See it swimmin'
With your feet in the air and your head on the ground
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
Your head will collapse
If there's nothing in it
And you'll ask yourself
Where is my mind?
Where is my mind?

Please make it stop....
Look in the mirror and make the same request. May your wish be granted.
"impassioned exploration of love, desire and truth.’’ is an apt description of her skills.
tonight is awash in mediocre covers. I think the DJ is being mesmerized by blonde women half his age. I'm familiar with this, because my dad's criteria for buying records has always been large breasts on the album cover.
Lots of things i could say in response to this, but i think i'll settle for...
.
Guess your dad's a Roxy Music fan?
Agree, something is lost in this cover.
No there's not. There are only new lovely things to be found in it.
Pixies: The Musical
Produced by Disney and sung by little mice
BUT I love the original
Agree, something is lost in this cover.
And something added.
Please make it stop....
Why?
Isn’t Storm Large a porn star name?🤔
You must be thinking of Al Vivino
Agree, something is lost in this cover.
I find that there's something here that's not in the original. And Vice/Versa. I like them both and also the piano version as well.
This is way better than the original
Wrong. Also, wrong. In addition - WRONG.
Otherwise, not correct and very very wrong.
Storm Large is utterly amazing! She puts on a fantastic show. Catch her live.
i remember her on Rock Star: Supernova. but, i don't remember if she won.
It's not awful. It verges on respectable. I like what's going on with the bass.
But in the end it's a pass.
Speaking as a test engineer, a 'PASS' means it works, a 'FAIL' means it does not.
So i guess you meant that it works (for you), and if that isn't what you meant, then your comment is a 'FAIL'...
Just saying...
But in the end it's a pass.
Agree, something is lost in this cover.
Yep, the pseud David Byrne. No loss IMO.
Repent sinner. Perhaps you will be reborn with an actual life.
are you married to her or something?
Anyone notice the boobies? Have a look next time.
Blue Footed?
Arrrrgggghhhhhhh! Make it stop. Then burn it. Burn it with fire.
There isn't a cover version of this song that adds anything to the original, but this has to be the worst yet.
I just wish artists would stop trying to re-interpret this track and leave well alone. It's a grimy, gritty, discordant rock classic. It just doesn't work as a saccharine ballad.

Pretty sure all the haters are just whining because someone stepped on their nostalgia. This cover is great, and there's enough room in the musical sphere (and on RP) for this and the original. So there.
Well spoke oh wise one.

Word my friend. Thank you.
Nice cover in MHO. 7
10!
Average cover of ROCKIN original.

Exceptional reimagining. Susan is brilliant.
Trying WAY too hard. Not working.
Graceful and perfect interpretation. Exactly opposite of your silly comment. Storm is a monster talent. Wake up and smell the roses.

Your ability to infuse a comment with verbal cheese and sentimental treacle , takes a lousy comment to a new level of pretentious twittery.
But, is absolutely dead on.
Average cover of ROCKIN original.

Barely average. Beautiful voice, not the right song to cover.
Agree, something is lost in this cover.
But Tuesday's just as bad...
I keep liking her more and more...

Where Is My Mind? - Pixies cover - Therapy Session
There's a video somewhere of the two of them singing it together.

That being said, does anyone else out there in RP land find the rating descriptors rather odd? I mean to drop from "marginal" to "sicko barfo" is quite a plummet. "5" is translated as "decent"! For me 5 out of 10 indicates mediocre. there's surely nothing decent about mediocrity?
I don't know how one "tries" to like a song. Ok, you don't like it. Fine. You don't have to.
No idea.
I rather like it.
I agree! She sings in her way, which is not the Pixies'. I like both versions equally.

In counterpoint to the lame hater comments ...
I would be honored to accompany Susan anytime on bass and vocal harmony.
Xtra +1 rating for being a homegirl. Fellow Berklee College of Music Alumnus.
Agree, something is lost in this cover.
What is lost is any talent to interpret. Just total maudlin crap.
Hey, I kinda like it, but this is a funny comment either way :)

Holy crap did this make me laugh! Thanks for brightening my day. You just never know when something is going to tickle you.
I initially thought so as well, but I think this might actually be a bit of a tongue in cheek production. I read up a little on the singer, and I'm certain she does not take herself nearly so seriously as the tone of her singing here would suggest.
Feels a bit like Nana Mouskouri singing Amy Winehouse.
