You got a lotta nerve coming 'round this place
If you're a pretty boy, you've got to save face
And it's all wrong

Turn around
Let's get it on

You've got a lot of curves past your gate
Life in the future tense is so much weight
Space is the emptiness, nothingness, between two things
But the space in your heart, baby
Generates your pain
And it's all wrong

Turn around
Let's get it on

I realize you're like a bummed cigarette
Suicide in slow motion
You're such a drag, all that's left is a decent butt
Your promises are smoke I see you inhale
And it's all wrong

Turn around
Let's get it on
Turn around
Let's fucking get it on

I just came here to say they're channeling Bowie, but the lot of you beat me to it!
It's easy to see that they are drawing heavily from Bowie Blackstar. That's not a bad thing, btw.
I really like the odd time signatures in this song. Feels tight and unsettled at the same time. Brilliant.
my life needs this.
VERY. LOUD.

That was my immediate thought, that it was those legends, but wow! What a great cut!  Please share some more from that album RP 🤓

Spot on
I worship those sharp, glancing, clever guitar licks and pitch-bending vocals, and -- wow -- THIS takes THAT to A WHOLE NEW LEVEL of JAM!

Never thought I'd bump a QOTSA track to 8, but this is worthy.
Not a big QOTSA fan, but now, after a few listens, can declare that this song is excellent.
this one sound like it could've been on the THEM CROOKED VULTURES lp!
It's growing on me
New QOTSA, instant check, rating less than 7, 10 for the haters.

ROCKING new stuff! How weird, wild and wonderful! I've always loved their gnashing, layered guitars... This one makes me think of Gang of Four; also shades of Smashing Pumpkins, Silversun Pickups, and bits of Pinback. Love those trippy, primal rhythms and raw distortions on strings! Makes me want to hear it again!

I  Agree!

LOL! Same here!  too funny!
Scary Monsters... Super Creeps. Loving it. These guys just keep evolving, while paying homage to Past Genius.

I really like it. Troy Van Leeuwen's guitar work is fantastic. Agree that the mix is a bit lo-fi, but that's probably part of how Josh Homme's artistic expression works for this cut. Amazing.

New Queens of the Stone Age!!!
I'll start the bidding at a solid 7 - some great guitar work. And I like the comment about Fripp/Bowie vibe with the guitar too; excellent point.

With you - interesting on first listen. And excellent point by Rashley on Fripp/Bowie like guitar work.
Does the mix sound muffled to anyone else?  It's likely what they were going for but just seems a touch dull to me.

Kinda moving toward an 8 based on just these lyrics
