Very grateful to have discovered them thanks to RP! Spent several hours listening to their catalogue over the weekend. Great stuff!
Instant 8
Jacques Loussier, just increased a little.
Ah the stuck loop from August, I remember that.  The song wasn't stuck in a loop, the set was.  About 4-5 songs were in rotation.

Though I get it's probably a joke about the song too.

The stuck songs were: Moby - Natural Blues, Hania Rani - Dancing With Ghosts, boygenius - Afraid Of Heights, Neil Finn - Turn And Run, Beth Orton - Dont Want To Know About Evil.  Was pretty trippy to hear them over and over... Dancing With Ghosts and Dont Want To Know About Evil are as repetitive as this one.
Back in the day, circa late 90s, there was a band from Seattle named Rockin teenage combo that played at a bar in Missoula Montana. They were so bloody good!
This reminds me so much of their music.
I saw from the comments that this song was stuck in a loop a couple of months ago, playing over and over. I wonder how you could tell. The song itself sounds like it's stuck in a loop.
sorry, I have to rate this a 3 strictly because I am still traumatized from that looping incident a couple weeks ago.

If I never hear it again that would be nice.
only played it once this time! no infinite loop! dang! GoGo Penguin 🐧

Lol, we're in a loop!  I've heard Bill's intro and this song maybe 4 times in a row.  I like the glitch, it's kind of trippy.

Seems all the channels are in a loop! Same song playing repeatedly!
Oh Bill, Where art thou?
ECM production sound and feel but with a beat.

Solid song, but 3-times was enough for me. I logged in 30 minutes later and found out it was still playing!

Like this a lot. Makes me think of The Bad Plus. Different, of course, but I'd have them alongside in the same playlist.

Came here to say this, happy to amplify. And amplify that both drummers are both doing stuff I never thought a drummer could do.

Last November I saw them live at Konzerthaus Dortmund. Third row, 5 meters away from the drummer. So I could watch his 'footwork' during the whole concert. Very impressive. No AI can ever replace a good drummer.
So good! If you like this, you should give "Grandbrothers" a try.
Definitely NOT the old Manchester sound. I like both!
Great to hear great Trio free form jazz.   And a new generation.  !! Great sound. amazing talent.
