Who in their right mind is giving this anything less than an 8? White is an unabashed genius; we're fortunate to be alive in his time.
A long time fan of Mr. White. Saw him with Meg in The Stripes at a festival in Atlanta that I used to work. That was in 2002. Woah! He is so talented. His other musical ventures have been amazing. He covers it all. Especially on his solo stuff, like this. But his jamming with the guys in The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather presents a different feel and style of music. He also plays drums and not his guitar in one of those band. He is a friggin genius!
This and "What's the Rumpus" are my fav tracks on this altogether excellent album. It's one that I rarely hit "skip track" on.

Wow! Comes in like Joe Walsh/ James Gang then slashes along with juicy bits like that old classic jam "Ballroom Blitz" by The Sweet! Dig the mind-blowing crunch Jack puts into his guitar! Need to see him again!
Volume up whenever this track is played on RP. 
I think it appeals to me as it reminiscent of The Kinks 💿 'Preservation - Act 1'¹ and 'Preservation Act 2'² albums (which I love). 🙂

We saw Jack close out the Soundside Festival in Bridgeport CT this September and he absolutely crushed it. I thought the same thing with Eminem, as a Detroit native I would love to see them play a festival together and hear Eminem's vocals and Jack's guitar on this.

I've never been a huge Jack White fan which isn't to say that I don't respect him as a musician. This cooks though!
