Well I told my baby
I said Baby, I know where you been
Well, I know who you are
And what league you played in
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn.

Well, the night is so empty
So quit and still
For only fifteen hundred dollars
You can have anybody killed
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn.

Well, I told my baby
Further down the line
I said, ?What happens tomorrow
Is on your head, not mine?
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn
You wanna ramble
To the break of dawn.

Dylan's all over the music space. Some listen for their politics. Some for the simple beauty of the poetry. Some for the mix of good rock and interesting words. Dylan has a bit to offer in every mix. Sometimes he is *F-N* brilliant and sometimes I can't hit the mute fast enuff. But he's always educational, entertaining and tells us about our own tastes. Not bad for almost 60 years of sounds... But as the comments note-not for everybody all the time... I like this as a rock song... I'll pay more attention later and maybe change my mind...Dy;an does that.
Oh great, more mediocre Dylan.
NRBQ did this style through their entire career, and to much better results.

No artist can be Godlike all the time. Giving any artist all 10s is more a reflection of prejudging the work based on the artist's name than actually judging the work on its own merits.

it's fantastic to you cause it validates your thinking and your inability to hear beauty in the song playing of a Master.

‘two ways to think of Dylan's stuff  - in RP context...  first - by comparison to all the other music and artists that are played. In which case giving him all 10's isn't unreasonable. Second - would be to judge the merit of a song in the context of the body of Zimmy's work, in which case the occasional 9 or 8 may seem reasonable. But RP isn't playing all Dylan, they're playing Dylan (scarcely) in a mix with others. So judging, in context with the other songs played, any Dylan song ever played gets a 10 maybe a 9 on occasion. John Coltrane work gets the same consideration, ..imho

Just plain BAD and not in a good way.

I actually feel guilt for giving a Dylan tune a 9 instead of a 10 ~ LOL

I thought it was Lucinda at first
is not my favourite bob song, but even the lesser ones from lesser times got something!

gave it a *7* .

Love Bob but I'm not sure about this one even if the theme is generation-relevant.  {#Cowboy}
completely forgettable, and I'm working on forgetting right now.
