I hadn't realised that crumby went put of business a year ago. There servers are about to get taken down too. Everything could be about to go blank.

Andy's chumby doesn't seem able to pick up a signal from my ipod (which makes Andy very happy).  The ipod is clearly charging from the chumby from the USB terminal using the standard connection.  ANy ideas or or are we they hopelessly incompatible.

Just uploaded some new features onto Hobiejoe's chumby.  It just had the standard set up before plus Radio Paradise- we'll probably need to tweak it further but I was just experimenting a bit.  You can set it so that one of the things it features is recent flickr photo uploads from contacts.  Problem is it doesn't say who they are from so you have to guess.  So I just saw a series of photos from Johray which must have been taken at a festival (lots of costumes).  It now shows out local weather too and you can play video clips and read articles in you chosen newspapers, and of course listen to RP from the comfort of wherever you happen to be (as long as it has a wireless access).  Cool- the kids keep asking for music in the mornings and it has some funny alarm settings (HJ didn't like the bugle!- but you can just set it to wake you up to RP).

My little brain saw this thread title as "Chernobyl."
