Damn right hand seems to be getting worse. So numb and stiff to the point where it was almost useless and impossible to brush my teeth or hold a cup of coffee. Took almost 2 hours to get some movement after keeping it under hot water to loosen it up a bit. And letâs not talk about the inner part of my right knee.

Emotional. Got a message from my second daughter this morning. Her brother-in-law passed away. Not quite 50. She married a man with a different religion and culture than ours. To the point where they had to keep their relationship under the radar while dating because his family wouldn't have approved. But her (then) boyfriend right away introduced her to his brother (he was 9 years older and they were very close) who instantly clicked with my daughter. When my daughter got married, her brother-in-law told his brother you chose the right one.
I could say more about how great a person her brother-in-law was, but nothing is private here. So you'll have to take my word for it.

Probably posted this several times, maybe even recently. It's just beautiful. In my minds eye I keep seeing a kid with a home made bow and arrow made from sticks; the points whittled to a fine scar.
Go to bed feeling fine.
Wake up with a sprained ankle...
Funny how that works. Usually means we hurt ourselves during the day and forget about it (because the pain goes away soon after) and the next day we're like...wtf? Sometimes we don't even know we did something. I recall a few years back one day both my knees were hurting bad. Did a lot of thinking of what could have happened and remembered that the day before I carried two 18L jugs of water (one in each hand): from the water dispenser at the store to the cash register, from the store to my car, then from my car to inside the house. I only carry one at a time now. (18L = 4.75 US gallons)
