I'm a new resident to New Hampshire and the Republican party here is very fond of saying "We don't want to be like Massachusetts". From what I've seen in how things operate here they apparently would rather be more like Oklahoma.
Sort of like the people that decry California as a 'failed state'. The same California that just took over Japan's spot to be the 4th largest economy in the world. Yeah, let me fail like that. If you are fleeing and they are doing great, maybe you were just holding them back?
Just noticed this, but thought it is interesting that Massachusetts has benefitted greatly from policies enacted by Mitt Romney. Who would have guessed that the guy who was the Republican nominee in 2012, *AND* was a leader of the most successful Democratic state would have no home in either party.
