Tull's Benefit album was the first reissue I bought knowing that it was from a digital master. It's one of my desert island albums. I was one of those who thought that if it's not from an analogue master, then why bother. Benefit changed my mind completely. Good is good and great is great. So iffen I'm going to buy KC, In The Court Of ... I'm going with his mix. I just bought the new EU LZ I reissue, knowing that it too is from a digital master. Page is all hands on this. His engineering skills are under appreciated. It has two extra LP's from an old 1969 concert so if nothing else it'll be worth that cuz concert recordings are just not that critical as long as its from the soundboard. It arrived this past Friday and it's still sitting unopened waiting to be played. I have two old ones including a 1st press that is pretty well played so I will have something to compare it to and see what's up. Just went through my song ratings and I have four PT songs rated. Couldn't tell you what they are by the title or by listening to them if my life depended on it. The only way I would know would be by looking at the playlist while a song was playing. And Prince, a true Guitar God. Ain't no boubt adout it. And another renaissance man as well. So multi talented and skilled he was.
