Thanks for taking the time to post this great working solution, to playing the "mellow" mix natively on Android TV. I can confirm that it works brilliantly on NVIDIA Shield. Been wanting to do that for quite some time!

I can report it works just fine =) - a bit strange that the app doesn't have a settings option ("by default, play.. <mix>") but it seems to play the last choice, fine enough.

Another Android TV note: if your TV under-scans, you can't see the settings cog.
