The update is automatic. If you see the login screen when you open it, that means you have the new version. The only way to get rid of the login screen is to log in :-) Damned if you do...

The update is automatic. If you see the login screen when you open it, that means you have the new version. The only way to get rid of the login screen is to log in :-)

Not sure, I use the Roku app and it automatically upgraded a little while ago. It made me log in to rate stuff and have access. I didn't get any kind of volunteer login, Are you using the same username/login as you do here? I'm happy to see the upgrade, because I never really got an answer as to where my ratings went with the old system that had no login. The new one is certainly working better, and the slide show is a lot of fun. I've noticed a couple glitches where it will stick on the pictures for a song and repeat them while the playlist moves on for a song or three, but it's much better than the old one which simply locked up all the time.
