When I listen to RP in real time (as opposed to the RP App downloads) it's usually through Roon, which distributes music to all the endpoint systems in my house, and I'm always listening tot the CD quality URLs. I'd sure like to be able to tap into a stream on my phone or tablet or laptop that shows me the album info, performer info, etc - all that lovely metadata. Right now the only option I know of is to pretend I'm listening on my phone etc, but... that means that RP now owes whoever they pay licensing to for TWO streams for me. And that just doesn't feel right... RP is already one of the most generous in its choice on how to pay artists for their work.

But if you had a silent stream - heck, I'd even love to be able to go read through fellow listener comments, I kind of like this bunch of folks - then I would be able to follow along on whatever device I'm working on while Roon streams the music to the audio system in the room.

And, if I've missed out on this already being done, please let me know.
