If Speaker Johnson refuses to bring forth the vote, he’s telling the American people loud and clear that rising health care costs are acceptable to him.

When your health care costs skyrocket after the first of the year it is due to Trump and his spineless lackey Johnson.

There is no one else to blame. Vote accordingly. YOU HAVE BEEN SCREWED by the Republicans.

Yet another reason that Americans need to spend some more time abroad. EVERY OTHER developed nation (and a good portion of the developing ones) have already fixed this issue.

Good luck, everyone. Hopefully the upcoming Trump-sponsored deaths will be quick and painless.
Remember, he promised to replace the ACA with something better - and has done jack shit about it, despite a Republican House & Senate.
Because he's a liar and a loser.
As a result of electing all these morons, your friends and family won't be able to get the healthcare they used to have.

Here comes the Trump Morbidity and Mortality Wave™

Wasn't the promise of a vote the only thing the dems got in exchange for re-opening the government?

You dont need a job - medicare/medicaid.
For those on the ACA marketplace... lower income people, the subsidy issue will have less of an impact to their access/cost...while millions above the poverty threshold would completely lose eligibility.

Consistent with current trends, the middle class bears the greatest burden of the shortcomings in the U.S. healthcare system...paying through the nose for premiums during their working lives, and risking whatever savings/home they were able to accrue during retirement...God forbid they get sick, injured or can't care for themselves.

It's worth noting that I was in a shit job with shit benefits so I was paying OOP for insurance. Got a letter in August or Late July, saying our insurance company was pulling out of Wyoming and so I'd have to find another option (there is only one option now)** So for no other reason than that, I looked extra-carefully at the job postings on the state job services website (where I was also in charge of posting our open positions). Found a job I like with real benefits. So in a strange twist, I have Trump's shitbrained presidency to thank for my new situation.

**Got the notice from BCBS that our policy would automatically transfer to them and our monthly family premium would be $5800 per month. 100% paid by the ACA, so my monthly cost would have been $0 but they would have soaked the gov't for $70k per year. No wonder the MAGAs are all fired up to do away with the ACA! Of course they don't see the only ONLY reasonable alternative is to eliminate the healthcare insurance industry as primary payer. Anyway. Thanks, Donnie! *cough* *gag*

Absolutely.

But on that, CFW is going to Europe in a few weeks and I've tried to drum it into him that if he really needs help, he has to do his absolute best to smile and be charming. Not like his dad, more like someone who is not in any way related to him. Because as much as people want to help, you still need to leave the door open for them to do that. Y'know, unless you're dealing with a TBI and walking pneumonia, then maybe people should just suck it up and help.

Just announced: Trump & RFKjr announce “war” on ”quack doctors and nurses” and “those who kill our unborn” and deploy ICE to raid their offices, arrest those responsible, and imprison them for nine months, as “payback” for those “murders.”
