I really love to play the RP flac stream on my Logitech Squeezebox Touch. There are 2 modes: regular and interactive. Recently the iinfo & images of what's playing don't refresh on the regular stream though. Any way to fix this? Thanks!

The interactive mode uses a media server plugin that provides the song titles. We haven't found a way to embed metadata in the FLAC stream like we can with AAC & mp3.

I love my Squeezebox Radio and highly recommend it. RP, live365, Shoutcast and so many stations to listen,
and the alarm option rocks too.
This is an interesting review about Mondo radio versus Squeezebox

If you have a TV nearby you can also use a ROKU box to get RP and other stations. You can still hook the audio out to your receiver from it.

Can you choose what stream you get from the Roku box?

No it's the dedicated RP Roku channel.

edit: I haven't looked into the Shoutcast options Dave linked to.

Here is a list of the current ROKU music options

You can select any shoutcast station plus it has Pandora and TuneIn and a dedicated RP app.

So has anyone purchased this new Logitech Squeezebox advertised on the front page?  I'm getting a price list together so that I can wire our house for internet radio and I'd intended on just using a PC with a line out of the soundcard into a stereo receiver.  This looks like it might be easier to use and just run a line out of this into the receiver.  I'm reading some mixed reviews on it and wanted to see if anyone has one.

Not that one (the transistor radio model), but the Squeezebox Touch. It is optically connected (SPDIF) to my surround system. And I am totally happy with it (you can use the touch screen, the remote, or the Android phone to operate it). I use my Android to peek what is on RP. 50,000+ internet radio stations, but the SBT is glued to RP :- p. Who needs choice?

That adapter will not work with the Boom as far as I know.

I only have a SB3 but  I know a couple people that own the Boom and love it.  Good sound quality for a boom box.

Can't beat the price
