It was not only hot, but there isn't hardly any shade, unless you want to sit on the sides.

I went a couple years ago, and while I wasn't the oldest, If they had a short bus that would only hold the oldest there, I would have been on the bus!

Friday was the worst weatherwise.Hot and humid. I couldn't enjoy anything from 3-6. Cat Power was awesome!!!!!! John Butler- wow! The Raconteurs were my highlight!!!!!. Rage Against the Machine - Oh. My. God!  Radiohead- just beautiful! As usual it was the highlight of my summer. Sold out each day so there were tons of people. Only bad part. I saw Wayne Coyne's movie called "Christmas on Mars". wierdness abounds! My celebrity sighting was Lindsey Lohan and her girlfriend watching Perry Farrell and Slash's set.

My daughter's driving down today from Toronto.  Just found out the reason she was going.  Here, I thought it was the Cubs.  Sounds like quite the lineup.  She'll be in heaven.  A budding performer.  Search "listentojessicamitchell" on myspace.  Sorry for the cheap plug.  Father's prerogative. 

Well now they are predicting highs in the 90's. It will be hotter than you know what. But I always have a good time at this fest.
