I just posted this in the song comments for "Her Strut." I gotta repeat it here, as a heartfelt tribute to Bill and Rebecca Goldsmith:

"It's amazing how much great music is out there
that I never knew existed. I'm curious, how do they make it appear as if
it's a real DJ playing? he will comment on a specific song
occasionally, giving the appearance he's right there in the DJ booth
spinning tracks. I wonder if he just randomly picks out songs from the
playlist, makes comments then insert it into the program? anyone know?"

Tom Cool says:

Oh, baby. Bill Goldsmith is an American National
Treasure of Disk Jockeys. In Japan, they would register him along with
the guys who still know how to make katanas by hand. He may
not be in the studio 7x24x365, but you can most definitely be assured
that there is nothing random about the song selection at Radio Paradise.
He and his wife, Rebecca, put a great deal of thought into the song
selection, the sequencing and the multi-dimensional segues (tonal,
rhythmic, temporal, melodic, thematic, etc.) .

This is an unusual selection for RP, though . . .

I think that we're kicking a little loose, during the CORVID-19 crisis. The national disc jockey is stepping up to the plate.

RP forever!
