Manually drove it through a file. It showed the two sides. (Novel approach by the way). Seemed to play there for some reason.

When I was a young un, the rock station (now all Latino music) KLOL out of Houston had a lot of great mind-bending things, National Lampoon Radio Hour, StarDate, and each night (I think) the low-voiced stoned DJ would tell us it's time for...HEADPHONES ONLY...and we'd put em on and lay on the floor and turn on the UV light so our posters glowed and hoped our mom wouldn't come walking in and her dentures glowing green in the UV and we'd just lay there on the wall-to-wall carpeting and listen to some damn cool album, start to finish without interruption.

I know other things made us what we are, musically speaking, but that was no small part of it.

The Beatles influenced section was the best for me. Kaaltu was new to me. I like them. Of course, Apples in Stereo are all over my playlist. Love the psychedelic sound from them!
I have nine Cotton Mather songs on my playlist. I discovered them a few years back. One of my favorites on the mix.

The Bacharack section was also good for my ears. 2/3's Dionne Warwick greatest hits! I really like the Dan Kibler version the best.

Sssssmooooth  Dang, Lounge Jazz. Liked Ricki's rendition of that Dan classic.

Mr. Miller. As others mentioned, Steve Miller is up there on my list of favorites. Especially his San Francisco (hippie) style from '68- '73.

Goodbye. Nice Thomas Dolby one. One you don't hear often. I've heard that Reed Foehl song someplace before... Oh yeah! It's a R. Paradise classic!

I have a hard time loving anything that's not the original version of the Burt tunes. Remember that he wrote the music, so if all that's left is the lyrics it's really a Hal David tune.

And that H&O is from my favorite album of theirs, which they seem to be breaking out in force now during live shows, actually doing the title tune. And Oates singing his pedophile song (!) "ain't no use resisting / it's the cradle thief insisting..."
