My positions on foreign and trade policy haven't changed a whole bunch over the last 20 years, regardless of which party your Americaners choose to put into office.  Obama is merely the latest occupant to stick in his partisan ideas and fuck things up.  Before that, and before 9/11, Dubya and the then Congress was pissing us off up here over a trade dispute over softwood lumber.  Perhaps you remember that.

Politicians, their politics, and the business of global trade are reluctant bedfellows.  IMO, of course.  Up here in Canuckistan, we have underway right now a bit more of a localized version of a potential trade dispute.  Effing politicians, effing it up as they seek to please an electorate.  Short term decision-making at its finest.  Perhaps you've seen some of that in your current election cycle?

I disagree with a lot of Obama's policies, though not too much of his foreign policy stuff.  Same with Dubya before him.  I guess that makes me party to a couple of murderers too, eh?

Even though I am opposed to this opinion, I think Obama's foreign policy is a mixed bag and I certainly am not enthralled with his uber aggressive domestic Intel approach where he seems to have a shocking disregard for our civil liberties even beyond Bush. It is nice to see someone be consistent with their positions and giving in your case, the other side credit for doing something you agree with instead of twisting it for political gain. In other words, It shows principle and concern for actual policies as opposed to just scoring political points and I give you kudos for that. Perhaps there is hope for yet.

And nothing personal Bokey, just that calling your most recent and current POTUS-types, they of vastly different philosophies, both war criminals and murders of the innocent really doesn't jive.  Might just as well call all your past presidents since we were born the same . . . there's equal circumstances in all counts.

I'm not familiar with the entire course of history. I just know what I've seen recently and I don't get most of my info from FOX or the internet.

 I observe what I see, and form my opinions from there, be they right or wrong.

Ok good, you are for decreased spending in the military budget, suspension of frakking until the ill effects are fully understood and to decline the shale reserves out of concern of the effect of the massive amounts of carbon dioxide being released into an already taxed atmosphere. There is hope for you yet, but that was a pretty quick turnaround there seems like a little lower you was for these things......Earnhart rules! Pass me my budweiser Mary Lou.  USA USA USA!

There's huge cuts coming to the military budget.  Be careful what you wish for.

Top Republicans to Obama: Level With Public About Defense Cuts

So your idea to solve all of our ills is to continue to bomb people, increase frakking and release all the carbon dioxide the North American continent has to offer. Sounds like a plan.{#Rolleyes}

Fix the energy equation and get rid of the dependence on middle east oil.  That would be one hell of a good start to turning around the debt.

Plus think of the savings in dropping bombs on innocent people that the scumbag Bush clan and Obama get their rocks off on.

Alls we have had since Obama has been elected are continueing resoltutions.
