I had, right from the start of hearing of the death of David Carradine, posted a few items which some took to be humourous. Ok, they were intended to be humourous... on the surface. However, each one was well considered and posted as a comment on pop-assumptions, making fun of those, rather than of DC. Maybe my post did, or did not, work. Maybe they were recognzed for their deeper commentary on the rash nature of our fast-as-lightning (it's a little bit frightening!) jump to judge, condemn and hang a person (no pun intended... right) without compassionate regard for their life and circmstance, especially the presence of the Unknown.

Now, I'm not such a brilliant person, not all that astute as some here on RP, nor as silver tongued as some slicksters hereabouts. And often my grammar sucks. But I know what i enjoy, and I enjoy the diversity of idiocy  perspectives found scattered throughout these forumses. All of yas. Well, almost all. Some of y'all can go to Hell. It's pretty much due south, hin't it?

I find you to be very funny and 'sides personally I've always thought David Carradine was about half nuts...

and be careful around here a lot of cat lovers so be careful not to insult a cat either...

With respect to the latter, don't change a thing Phin because it seems to be working for you.

As for my ego, it's just a figment of my imagination, as is yours to you.

Of course, if his hands were bound, then someone else was in the room with him, no?

Makes sense that people are wondering if it was truly foul play.

The humor is a bit crass, yeah.  Then again, it seems to be human nature to use humor as a tool to deal with that which makes us uncomfortable.  Auto-eroticism of any sort surely falls into that category, and all the more so as it falls further outside the norm.

As Randy said, too bad Carradine will be remembered for this—but I would not say this "way he chose to leave" the world.  I'd say accidents happen, and it sounds as if this was surely one.

Yeah, that was a poor choice of words on my part...I'll change that to the way he left the world.
