Well, (insert all the bad words available here) ... my hip surgeon (not the one who broke his wrist) has the FLU, so surgery scheduled for tomorrow is cancelled. I had made arrangements with about six or seven people to help me, so this is incredibly inconvenient. I've started drinking.
Change of plans ... hip surgeon broke his wrist (dominant hand) and will be out of commission at least three months. Had a consult with another surgeon (the third orthopedist I've seen) on the other side of the mountain this morning and have scheduled surgery with him for mid-March. Third time's a charm, right?
