I saw him, and while your support wouldn't hurt, he had it covered pretty well.
We didn't have time for Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar) so I didn't get to play my kazoo or slide whistle parts I came up with for that. Lotta fun! Maybe next time!
Wish I was there backing you up on my trusty 1971 Martin D-18 & my somewhat acceptable vocals, brother.

So, it was in a local guitar shop in an old building downtown. Considering the cramped space and a SRO audience I think it went pretty well. We probably would have procured for you an electric for the set of hi-energy Doors covers we brought for about 55 minutes.
I blew out another 'G' with an explosive Five To One cover followed by Maggie McGill. Fortunately I had a spare but it's a recurring problem. How does one continually break harmonicas? It is an expensive problem.
Anyhow, Roadhouse was in 'A' and though equally powered I managed to keep a sweet scowl. Riders was great. So was Crystal Ship and LA Woman.Touch Me, Love Her Madly, and a recent addition of Strange Days.
Of course, harmonica is not a prevalent instrument in the Doors but I make it one by improvising and creatively playing in a way that mimics the organ or guitar or just standing out in a jazz or blues style, whatever I hear in the music and space. Often less is more as I fine tune the attempt. More live play will help. Also, a good sound man lol. Fortunately we had a good one.
To be such a small instrument, the harmonica can be a compliment or a ruination. I just love the juxtaposition and responsibility. lol
Finished with my favorite Doors song, Indian Summer and a groovy Light My Fire.
The guys are really getting good. We're on track to learn the entire catalogue.
My not so secret wish for the band is to compose our own songs. I have a lot of music in me from infancy to ancientcy. If I don't get it out I feel like it will kill me lol.
Anyhow come on! Take your shoes off and sit a spell. We've already come a long way to get here. It's probably gonna get loud...
After work I'm going to have 8 MRI's, 4 with contrast and 4 without. We're trying to figure out if I had a stoke or TIA earlier this month and then 4 hours in the chair tomorrow for my monthly infusion. Happy New Year, maybe, if I'm awake.
The results just came in. No issues in the noggin. No stroke. No aneurysms found as well.
There are however spinal issues in the C 4 - C7 area as well as T1 -T2.
The C section accounts for the numbness, at least some of it. I had a nasty car accident back in the 90's that is responsible for the neck. Rear ended while stopped because of a DARE parade, on a hill and a kid came around the corner in a CRV and hit me at about 35 mph. I was able to drive my car home. His was towed. The lower lumbar area was from trying to catch a falling 60 lb box about 15 years ago. Shoulda let it drop.
2 hours in the tube.
So much more good news than bad. I'll take it. Knowing why helps a lot.

Iâm returning the substituted rock salt for the Roadrunner ice melt I ordered from Loweâs that they put in my trunk without me seeing until I got home. If you donât have the item ask if I will accept a substitution instead of doing it on your own. Now I got to go out in the cold which I wasnât planning on.
Epilogue to the story. Returned the salt at customer service and right across the desk is the salt I ordered. Grabbed the 40lb bag and out the door. Waste of my time.

Good luck with all that. As someone we both know said, you gotta enjoy every sandwich.
