Once again, Radio Paradise does not work even using the magic words "Alexa ask Radio Paradise to set the stream quality to Ultra". Did something else happen? Can someone provide me so more magic words to fix the problem?

I lost RP on my Squeezebox Touch for over a week.  I have TuneIn installed.  So then while searching for it again I found the Mellow and Rock mixes as noted by members below but, not my favourite, the Main mix.  Like others it said not playable in the UK, presumably for the reasons noted below.  Lots of searching and fiddling with the Squeezebox and getting rather annoyed.

Then I went into TuneIn directly and looked at "Staff Picks" knowing they love RP too.  So RP was still listed there and when I clicked on it ......it worked! So saved it back to My Favourites and it's all good and dandy again......  Odd but I hope it stays now.

edit - the Mellow and Rock mixes are AAC  320kbps http://opml.... and the Main RP is MP3  128kbps and http://radioparadise.com so the TuneIn staff are linking to that.  Anyway I'm happy!

It does default to 64
But you can set it up to 320.    Some devices  do flac but most seem to have it disabled now.

The command for that is.
Alexa ask Radio Paradise to set the stream quality to maximum.

The full list of options are  low, medium, high, maximum / ultra, lossless
They mirror the website settings of  32, 64, 128,320,flac

I'm currently in the UK listening to the flac stream on my Linn amp using that route. I appreciate it does nothing for Alexa users for whom the RP skill doesn't help, but maybe Sonos or other platforms allow you to access your Tunein favourites, in which case my suggestion may help

That will work for Alexa-enabled Sonos devices, but not when you use TuneIn to send music from an Echo device to a non-Alexa Sonos speaker. The default speaker option always goes through TuneIn, and it’s the TuneIn RP Main Mix that’s disappeared.

For the Alexa users, try 'alexa open radio paradise' (or 'alexa add skill radio paradise') if you've not added the skill yet. Working in the UK 18th May 9:01 am.
