I would carry it on the floor of the car, not the seat, though. I guess that's obvious tho. Or put it in a box that you can then get a seatbelt around. 

A dumb question...

I'm taking an apple pie (Mrs Smith deep dish apple) to firends who invited me to Thanksgiving..
The trip is over an hour.

The pie instructions say to cool for two hours.

Question: Can the pie cool in the car? Or is it better to stay still when cooling?
I'm warming the oven now....
