I can't imagine how hard it's going to be to unfuck the database* but TIL that there's a bootleg Elvis Costello album out there from 1978. This song isn't on it.
*These sorts of things are extremely common, especially when it comes to album art. e.g.: Love & Rockets song played earlier is showing a Tones on Tail ep. So it's never totally arbitrary.
Quite a few spammers in the song comments lately; the ones I've seen are noted in the ol' Spambags thread. But a troll has clogged that up with troll stuff so it's not surprising it got missed.
Apropos of nothing ⦠the Les McCann & Eddie Harris Swiss Movement album has been a favorite of mine since I was in high school mumble-mumble years ago. I played trumpet in the schoolâs jazz band & my best friend played tenor sax. When we graduated we set about trying to get a jazz trio going & covered Cold Duck Time & a couple other tunes on the record. That project turned into our first rock band with me on bass & my friend on guitar. Another story for another time.
9.0.3 has fixed the issue of not being able to continue where I left off with downloaded playlists, but it doesn't delete what was already played. Will that feature be brought back? Pretty please?
Hi Chuck, Iâm glad that this issue has been fixed in vers.9.0.3. In my case the iOS app.
Personally I find a replay of downloaded cache a nice feature.
You can delete a downloaded cache manually.
Go to your downloaded music and scroll downwards. Then youâll find the button âDelete All Downloadsâ And your cache is empty, in my case.
not crazy about the new ratings interface. Now I have to slide it and chose OK. Not very friendly for driving. Iâve also had an issue with having to log in again about once a week. Again kind of clumsy when driving.

Several Spam posts ("escort services"?) on the comments for "Compared to What" by Les McCann

RockIt, 2025 and Mellow mix still very flakey here in Aus.
Will not play consistently via LMS server stream (yet is connected to same ISP as laptop with Firefox via NBN FTTN)
Other RP channels play normally.
Currently plays via web site (firefox)
Currently plays on iPhone (iOs 18.7.4) via the new app.
Rock it stream on LMS still randomly stops and cannot be restarted for some time here in Aus. Other streams are fine. Starting to get very frustrating.
RP has - whittingly or not in the past - given a shit about relying on Bird Tech Industry
viewed from a techie's perspective here.
Apple, Google, ...all welcome to the US citizen regardless of data or system security.
It is the way we opreate. As humans.

His website has very little useful info other than that he's a master of many trades. One link though says
Born in Andalusia, Spain, composer Angel Salazar strives to fill every piece he creates with a distinct flavor and mood. From deeply emotional songs to intense action, his music adds a depth of impact to the film's visuals.
I know it was never accurate but the "last played" feature was kind of cool.
(last played on the Main Mix only)
(problem was that it showed the current play but needs to sort of wait to update or show the last 2 or 3 plays maybe)
Because going by the comments, this song is the Halley's Comet of RP: well, every 7 or 13 years or so. Or is it played more often and no one comments? I dunno.
Hello! What an amazing discovery Radio Paradise is. I couldn't not escape same-ness recommendation on Spotify.
On question though, is there a stream/player I can listen to without the crossfades between songs?
Thanks ð
No, and I think it's a requirement to avoid higher royalties (due to people ripping the stream). If that's what you're after, just chill out and let the stream play. If you dump the songs into your own player, you'll fall back into that sameness rut quickly.
Bug: No "Main mix" on Echo Dots for last 2 days (UK).
Feature Request: I wish this forum had notifications for new replies (eg. email) on subscribed thread etc., particularly on this thread when there may not be a reply to a bug report for days, or sometimes never.
I get the same issue on my Naim Qb2. The other RP streams are fine (but main mix is silent, whether Iâm connecting directly from the Qb, or through Roon).
I'm getting the same streaming through tune in on my denon x1800h receiver. Mellow mix just loops over and over thanking for listening to Radio Paradise. Yesterday it was both main mix and mellow mix
