Since I upgrade to the RP 9.0.1 mobile app, it's been randomly logging me out of my RP account. I've mostly noticed this when I'm using the app in my car. I run the app on my iPhone 16 Pro connected to my Subaru via a USB/C cable. Around 75% of the time I'm listening to the "My Paradise" channel to hit my extensive library of rated songs. When I'm logged off, I don't have access to My Paradise. I suspected it might be an issue with my iPhone connectivity, but upon investigation it seems to only happen with the RP app. Historically with the 8.x app, can't recall ever being logged out of my account, it was very rare that I had to sign back in.
Another clue: My logon ID for the online and mobile sige had always been my account name "buddy" + my password (since 2005). As of 9.0.1, my mobile logon ID is now my email address + same password. Meanwhile, the online site offers me a logon ID choice of my account name "buddy" or my email address. That seems to indicate some coding changes around the logon process. Since I don't ever get spontaneously logged out on the online site, perhaps there's something buggy going on with the mobile app logon process?

It is why a solid database logic is important. The social aspect (forum/journal) to RP sending out music waves to the world always was (and is) second. So much I could grasp tonight, listening to Beyond... keeps blowing my musical ego to smithereens with more beauty, harmony, and rhythm.
Plus, I learn to be thankful.

Yup, it don't take long to get only gibberish on journals when you click on them.

Stick to the help given above, but be exact about it. Hit random numbers and see. With multiple browser-tabs on a computer it shouldn't be so hard to wade through the numbers.

And so on. Eventually you might find one of yours...

The journals were cool. Lots of nonsense but it was where people could post things for posterity, that wouldn't get lost in the ever-changing forum.

Unfortunate. I seem to recall that the Journals would be preserved as an archive, just not allowing new entries. Because of these bugs, it is not a functioning archive.

I loved them. I was so green when I came here, I hid and read other's entries and posted lyrics and brief musings in the Journal and lurked the Forum trying to figure out what it was all about and back scroll threads to try to learn who people (virtually) were in order to
get over a strange feeling of being exposed to the world the first few times I saw my thoughts in type and displayed on the screen. As I have said in the past, April 4 2006 was my first step into the internet. I had an ictus. That was about it. Now I'm a little bit afraid of what the total number of posts must be lol.

You can go into them and read them but no longer edit them. You can copy text by highlighting and then pasting it into a word page and save it independently.
I see that the text error messages show up there too and with multiples .

I can still get around in it with a little effort. It is the forum editor it has that makes it still rock and worth the effort. That and all the old Journals are still accessible.
