cool, thanks! i'll have to look all that up. i just find the style so endearing and pleasing. it really captures nuances of people - so that you can imagine look just like that in real life - and you can recognize the time period immediately. i just love it. if i could have drawn like that i'd definitely have stayed with art as a profession. it's so cool.

I think it's from a cartoon short named
