Noise about Biden's decline existed in 2020 too. It's become far more obvious that he's running out of bandwidth/stamina.

No, not at all.  Biden was very stupid in publicly proving to everyone his true condition.  Not that our enemies didn't already know.  But you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. The fall of Taiwan has just become a little bit more imminent.

My first impression was that Biden's performance was far better than my expectations for the debate and stated so.

I am truly dumbfounded by how many people are shocked and surprised about Biden's actual condition.

Can't blame what we saw on "deep fakes" this time.

Yes. I'm still working retail besides just being about and it is palpable.  Everyone is twitchy whether they know it our not.  You cannot help but notice.

Perhaps some of the anxiety will be relieved now that the reality of the state of things has finally been revealed, on all sides.  What is amazing is how many people were actually surprised by the inescapable reality.  The curtains have been torn down and all is laid bare and obvious to all and especially the rest of the world.

If it all weren't so tragic it might be comical, but outside the envelope already brimming with dire warning the very ether is saturated with a state of dead reckoning. It is incumbent upon us, apologism notwithstanding. It's truly disheartening; all the ultimately pointless divisiveness and mental, emotional, and intellectual affray.

Or is playing golf, watching Fox while high on McD, and sleeping late.

You know better. Just like the Reagan or Bush years, it’s not the single guy pulling every lever. But like Trump, they do set the emotional and political tone of what America should be accomplishing. (In the latter case, it was violence, self-absorption, provincialism, xenophobia, and fear. That seems unique amongst Presidential legacies.)

Oh, I forgot. There was one President who clearly ran the show
