I posted a video in the What makes you laugh thread yesterday, Jerry Seinfeld and his 1952 VW Beetle... the turn signals are semaphores... little plastic whatzits that pop up.

From the right lane, they perform left turns at will.
Their favorite vehicle, the stupid belly button Lexus LX's.
Every semi- rich persons favorite cross over/ pseudo off- roader.
They're everywhere in this desert.

And then there are all the gardeners, in their very slow trucks hauling overloaded trailers in all lanes.

Not to mention all the "Lance Armstrong's" on their bicycles who think they're the same size as a car, and demand the same space on the road.
I actually had one yell at me once, when he pull along the right side of my truck in a left turn lane (which is two lanes wide and spans across six lanes of cross traffic).
When the signal changed in our favor, he bump into the side of my truck as I followed the correct path of traffic.
I honked my very loud fire truck air horn in his direction.
Share the road indeed.

One of the guys I worked with in AZ was driving his motorcycle to work one day and there was a snowbird in a Caddy sitting at a stop sign on a side street and she pulled out in front of him just in time for him to slam into the side of her car and do a header over the top. His foot got caught on a roof rack and it ripped his foot clean off and then he landed on his helmeted head. She drove off like nothing happened with his foot still on the roof rack. Fortunately a witness chased her down and stopped her and put the foot in an ice chest. He had to have 20 hours of micro surgery to reattach his foot and many follow up surgeries. Even though he had a helmet on his brain swelled and he almost died. He was never the same and ended up on disability. Her excuse was she never saw him even after hitting him.

The second choice- anything from the $70,000 up.

I used to hate driving in Phoenix because you had a mix of bad drivers from all over with all different bad habits so you never knew what was coming at ya next. Then you had all the old folks with their forever drivers licenses with no regular eye tests or even renewal testing etc.  Driving through or near retirement areas was like driving inside a pinball machine because not only did you have blind people in Caddies and Lincolns but also Kamikazes in golf carts to avoid.

At least here in VA the bad driving habits are mostly predictable. For instance if a car has VA plates they also don't have turn signals.

Constantly.
I wish I had the 1939 Citreon with the 2 x 50 caliber machine guns mounted on the front. That would make people stand up and take notice. {#Lol}

But I would settle for one of these.

Honorable mention: Colorado and Northern California, they seem to be unaware that the left lane is for passing.

I don't like driving in Virginia because radar detectors are illegal.

That is exactly what it is like in Arkansas.  There was a sign on a winding mountain road that said "20 people killed on this road last year.  Don't you be next."  Kinda creepy.

Yes, I think that most vehicles in NC have either had their turn signals disabled or removed.  Many cars also appear to have headlights that cannot be turned on, except at night, even in the heaviest and darkest of rainstorms.  Maybe it's because NASCAR cars do not have lights or signals.

The worst drivers I ever experienced were in South Africa where they seem to "have to" tailgate at speeds of 120 KPH and above.  It is very disturbing.
