I think, in order to honor the spirit of the original mixtapes of our youth, that everyone should cut off either a bit of the intro or outro of the songs on their CD, and have a DJ talking over at least the beginning or end of a song or two.

Okay so yesterday I burned all my discs plus one for me and I listened to it on the way home from work yesterday and again on the way in this morning and came to one unavoidable fact: I had a song out of place. I really needed to drop it but didn't want to but I had to move it to improve its segue. Still not great but it's less clunky. Okay it's official! The iTunes Equalizer does not effect disc burning! The disc that sounded bad on my computer sounded bad because of what I had my EQ set to. On my big stereo, the first disc I burned (with bad EQ turned on) sounds exactly the same as the disc burned with the EQ set to flat. We can all go back to our regular lives now.
